Nebraska Custom Tackle started in 1989 during our 21 plus years of operations as a siding application business while we did as much fishing as possible on weekends. We started by making spinners to take on our own fishing trips.

We caught the most fish with these home-made lures. Other friends that went fishing wanted to have some made for them as well. We liked spending time designing new products and would try them out on fishing trips.

We enjoyed making these lures and rigs so we decided to try selling them at a few sports shows in the region. Sales were good and we've had many repeat customers who have provided many good comments. So we are now expanding our marketing to the internet to reach other fishermen throughout the country.

We do all the painting, tying, and packaging of the spinner rigs. The Colorado Jig and Spoonbill Bottom Bouncer were designed by us and proven to be very successful. We take pride in what we produce and our number one goal is to produce quality products for our customers.

I have been ordering from you guys for around 4-5 years, we take 2 trips to Canada (Lady Evelyn Lake) every year. The spinner rig harnesses that you sell are higher quality, cheaper and you have a better variety of colors and styles than any other I have tried. I fish with 3 other guys and your harnesses always out fish the competition. We just got back from Canada on Saturday 5/29/10 and among many smaller fish I caught a 32inch 10.5lb walleye, the biggest I have ever caught. This fish was caught on your Bubblegum Green and Orange #4 Colorado Blade (BG04C4). I don't think there is any thing to improve, my orders always arrive fast and accurate. We were fishing in 20 -25 mph winds and the walleyes were hammering this Bubblegum Blue Tomahawk Spinner with a shiner. This Musky hit it and the battle was on! The musky got caught in the marker buoy line and it took about 20 minutes to get it in the boat for a quick photo. These spinners are made with 14 lb soft mono,which I prefer to lighter lines, and excellent hooks. They are made the way spinners SHOULD be made and now I won't have to make all of my own, which I have been doing for years! Mark Mitchell, Nebraska

I forgot to mention, those jigs (Colorado) I bought from you were snag proof! I can't remember losing a one of them. The lake bottom up there are covered with boulders, so you're always bouncing around the rocks. Was quite a relief not to have to re-tie often. Only jig lost was the one I gave to my friend.
